Q. How should I prepare for my day at Glamwhore Shots?
A. Properly preparing yourself to ensure you look your best for your session with Glamwhore Shots is very important. There is no substitute for feeling great to ensure you look great for your special day. There should be no holding back! Here are a few HIGHLY recommended suggestions.
- Wash and dry your hair the day before the session but don’t use any styling products.
- If needed, visit a esthetician to get a facial, remove any unwanted facial hair or shape your eyebrows.
- If you are planning to wear any lingerie or swimwear, waxing one week before your session is encouraged.
- Get a manicure and pedicure.
A. We always provide a consultation prior to your actual photo shoot. At this time, you can bring pictures from magazines and any ideas or things that particularly appeal to you…or what you want to be. We work with you and your ideas to prepare a one of a kind experience for you. The only limit is your imagination, make it special!
Q. What sort of outfits should I bring with me?
A. Your choice of outfits should be well thought out. Bring your favorites clothes, jewelry and accessories. Make sure they are things that make you feel comfortable, sexy and confident. Our studio will assist with co-ordination and additional items if you feel you need enhancement to your own clothes. Remember, if you plan to do any revealing shots, not to wear any tight undergarments as they tend to leave marks on the skin that are difficult to remove.
Q. I have no clothing to wear for my photo session. Do you supply clothing?
A. Yes we can. We have lots of props and accessories as well as a growing collection of jackets, dresses and other fun things.
Q. How does the payment process work?
A. A deposit equal to 50% of the total is required at the time of booking to hold the appointment. This amount will be applied to the total amount due. The remaining balance is due at the completion of the photo shoot. The deposit is the penalty if you cancel your appointment.
Q. Do you sell Gift Certificates?
A. Yes. Gift certificates are available in any dollar amount. Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Q. Where are you located?
A. We’re located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Q. What are your business hours?
A. Our studio hours are by appointment only.
Q. Would you come to where I live to take my picture?
A. Absolutely. We can do shoots virtually anywhere in the greater Toronto area. Depending on the location, a mileage fee may apply.
Q. How long does a photo session take?
A. A session usually takes one to two hours depending on package you choose and the number of people in the photograph, and whether extensive hairstyling, makeup and wardrobe services are requested.
Q. How long does it take to see my photos?
A. A private online gallery will be loaded on to our website so that you may view your proofs. Once you have made your choice, your portraits are usually ready within a week. Orders that require special retouching or graphic work may take additional time.
Q. Can I use the pictures on my blog? I.e.: Myspace, Facebook, Friendster
A. Yes. All proofs in your online gallery may be used anywhere on the internet but these images cannot be sold or used in any sort of advertising without written permission from Glamwhore Shots. Credit and link must be credited to GLAMWHORE SHOTS http://www.glamwhoreshots.com
Q. Can I order prints from you?
A. Yes. They take 2 weeks and are printed on high quality photographic paper.
Q. Can I order other merchandise? I.e. calendar, coffee mug, t-shirt
A. Yes we can.
Q. Do you do creative couples portraits?
A. Yes we do. Please let us know what type of photos you want to get done when you make the reservation.
Q. Can I bring a friend to the photo session?
A. Yes you can! You can bring anyone you’d like.
